Mines at about the same kms so it might be beneficial for me to go to a thicker oil, would this oil be ok coming into the winter months? Probably gets around 14 degrees of a night during winter on a bad day

Hey, im wanting to put my spoiler back on my ss but I've lost the bits that screw back onto the spoiler, does anyone know what size they are so I don't have to lump the spoiler down to my local bunnings? lol thanks in advance

Belts and pulleys are fine have had the belts off and it still makes the sound

Service history is unknown ive only owned the car a week. Oil isn't clear but isn't black, looks like it has recently had a service, i examined the oil on the dipstick in the light to look for reflections of metal shavings and couldn't see anything.

The ss is a manual which has the l98 motor, does that motor still have the afm lifters? I thought i read somewhere only the automatics have the afm lifters

yeh mate this was my issue, but my alternator was completely roasted so had to change the whole thing haha $600 dollars down the drain as i couldn't source a second hand one :(

No I didn’t ask him I was in a rush, throttle position sensor and the check engine light didn’t even come up on the blue slip

Got mechanic to change the tps in my 1998 Vt ss while getting my blue slip done, but it’s still spitting code 22 which is tps low voltage, what’s causing this?

It wasn’t cranking at the time of this post I typed this post while I disconnected the battery to see if the ecu reset would fix the issue. Turns out it made it start again but now I’m having a stalling issue, just don’t get why it started when I changed the battery
