My Red Hot VFII has just on 6K on the clock and after my most recent wash I found 3 large stone chips just above the windscreen on the leading edge of the roof and another on the front of the bonnet. My last VE did 60K+ and I didn't see a single chip. And the VFII has Opticoat as well!!

That is terrible, I am actually glad I didn't get the black roof now :(

Mick from Micks Attention 2 Detail came and did a stage 1 paint protection plus Body Armour 9H on my new VFII SS (did the wheel faces as well), and I reckon it turned out pretty good. $895 was the total cost. Yearly "top-up" detail/service is $120. The way water beads off the paint now is...

No drone on my VF2 auto with the relay removed to keep the bimodal on all the time.

Well now you've all gone and done it. VE-SS Redline in Red Hot ordered and ready for delivery next Tuesday. Copped the extra $1200 for the armour and blackout bits, think it will look much better on the red. Going to be a long weekend ...

Shopping for a VFII Redline after previously owning a VYII SS and VE SS, both in Red Hot. Was going to take the easy option and get the VFII in Red Hot as well, until I saw a demo in Jungle Green with the black roof. I love it, and I am sorely tempted, but this is a car I intend to keep forever...
