Car is all good again. Went to the drag strip on the weekend and was happy with the results.. Still running a 3.08 diff center i pulled a 13.3 at 108 mph. Just need to work on reaction time and getting my 60 foot times down a little.

Quick update. car is off the road with a stuffed turbo. Oops. what not to do to a turbo.

finished the vt seat install. came up well.

ok its been a while but have started on the vt seat conversion. looks good i think.

Hi all i am looking for a map/graph that shows how much timing i need vs rmp for a boosted vp v6 setup. I am setting up a new computer from scratch and this info would save me a heap of time.

Nah mate to wide. biggest you will fit is maybe a 235. even then only just. i have 225 on my 7 inch rims on the front of my vp and 245 on the back.

bit of an update. Have a set of vt seats that i am going to put into the old girl for a little bit more comfort. maybe put some 6 inch speakers in the door if i get keen. will put pics up when done.

that was on 14 psi and yes still using delcowizzards tune. could be more power if the day was not so hot. but even still i is a good power figure.

Well dyno day went very very well. only a 36 degree day. lol even though it was hot still ran the car on the dyno. Had a best run off 253.5 kw at the wheels so you could say that i am very happy.

Also need to give a big shout out to the man who has helped my all the the way from making the manifolds and putting up with me to putting my car on the dyno, Mick from A1 exhausts and performance my hat goes off to you. give him a call on 0428723951 if you need some great work done.

this is not a kit turbo setup. i build everything on this one ( with help ). The manifolds and crossover pipe are all custom. Just got a turbo and started making stuff for it to fit.

.84 rear housing and the turbo i have has not let me down yet.

yeah spending about 2 or 3 hours on the dyno. just to make sure it stays safe.

going up to 14 psi this weekend mate will let u know how it goes.

thanks vn wagx. will take all advice i can get. have been thinking of getting a turbo cam for my motor and as for the other motor it is going to be a long build as i want to do everything right. pic of the dyno sheet. only shows 201 but it was the best looking one. best run was 202.4 kw

you are prob better off starting of at 3 inch on the turbo. just get a small big of 2 1/2 swell it a little and place it inside to v band. then but weld up your 3 inch pipe. turbos might be the same, mine has a 69 mm v band so just over 2 1/2 but not quite 3 inch.

sort off. it is a custom 3 inch system with a high flow 3 inch cat and a 3 inch hotdog. will get some vids of it soon. after i change my back tyres.lol

new exhaust is all finished now. Had a dyno run while i was there too. running 9.5 psi made 202 kw at the wheels. not to bad i thought.
