My issues were the same as yours the window would stop and then work a few minutes later, i checked the relays in the passenger foot well , then bought an aftermarket switch to no avail even went to a wrecker to get another window regulator but got them to connect it to my wiring before purchase...

You could possibly have a broken wire where the harness leaves the body and goes to the door. I had a similar issue where my drivers window didn't work and a broken wire was the culprit.

Basically just wiggling the key and steering wheel at the same time .

Yes i've put another wire in there from the break to the window reg... all fixed.

Rigged up a dummy wire from that broken wire to where it goes on the window reg and window works both up and down.

I checked all the fuses again but it made no difference so i decided to check the wiring to the door and found a broken wire.

As title says drivers side power window not working at all either up or down, all other 3 work perfectly. Have tried a new switch , and plugged a 2nd hand window regulator from wreckers in and still no go. Car is Series 1 Berlina with auto up and down on both front windows. Any help appreciated.

Just pull the switch towards you a bit that should turn them on, you should see a green fog light symbol in the instrument cluster when on.

I would say it's fairly normal as mine does the same thing , more so when its cold . Only have the stock exhaust on mine , but it's been tuned with an otrcai.

i agree....i believe the mechanic was having a subtle dig at me.

sedan , centre stack looked good and the round vents didn't look to bad imo .

Steinborner at gawler had a new series 2 SS on display , auto hazard yellow for 49,990 drive away , still seemed a bit pricey for an SS.

They changed mine a couple of weeks ago without me even mentioning it when i had the rear main fixed. The hsv tech hinted that its mainly the drivers that drive their car a bit harder than normal who have troubles.

Mine has the factory trans cooler, vcm otr fits perfect there's plenty of clearance.

Had a VCM otr fitted to mine last week along with a tune , its like driving a different car.

My car is an auto so yes it occurs in autos

There's a revised gearbox mount for that issue , had mine changed couple of weeks ago under warranty. I was standing next to the tech when he looked it up on the comp and the heading was vibration at 110 kmh . I had a similar issue as what lease1 described above but the new mount fixed it...

Lodged mine 17th July with etax refund in the bank overnight , previous years have had a refund in around 5-7 days with the etax system.

I know what you mean on the tint , a guy at work has a black VE with dark as tint that looks wicked. Mine has 4K on it now ,plus its an auto, but HSV have got the calibration perfect in my opinion in manual mode it changes instantly either up or down , certainly a lot different to the black...

Walkinshaw do a carbon fibre rear spoiler , very expensive as are most things from them. around $1800.

I was quoted nearly 3k for just a catback with quad tips for my E2 , ended up going with a local shop and had a couple of stainless sports mufflers with 4" tips fitted for about 1/4 the price.

Looks good especially in Nitrate , does the G8 lip use the original spoiler holes.

Can one of you photoshop gurus put some E2 Maloo wheels on my clubbie.
