yea, got the red insert swapped... but i was pushing the red thing back in completely... I'll give it a go partly fitting and fitting on the rod. Thanks for the reply :)

Hi I've had to replace the red clips on my door lock button, but I cant get it back on the rod. Do you have to fit the new Red Clip into the door lock button thingy - then just force it onto the rod - as this isnt working, just feels like the rod is bending. Is there some trick I'm missing...

Just looking at your screenshot of the ACDelco parts finder - Rear blade only shows a refill AURT6. Is that correct that the refill will work on the factory arm? I have VE Sports wagon and the rubber has actually split on mine and come off... wasn't worried until todays rain on freeway and...

I think I'd have started with Alpine, not the auto elec.. They seem to recognize issues with the unit.. and at 3.4k they'd wanna be making it work yesterday.

To me insurance isn't something to go tight arse on... You want a simple process when you NEED it. They will also ask for a copy of your driving record - and anything that you have not told your insurance company about - they can wipe you.. any speeding fines, any fines - tell your insurer...
