+1 was going to suggest this. Much cheaper to get the existing seats re-trimmed. Got a quote for a seven seat suv cloth seats re-trimmed with pleather, was around $2k mark for all 7 if I remember correctly. Would be much cheaper and you can have the color of your choice.

Yes, I had the VCM OTR installed by DPM and didn't have to ask for the stock, they put it in the VCM box and kept it in the boot for me when I picked up the car.

This one is not the Walky pack, this has a VCM OTR and tune from DPM. Walkinshaw is essentially the same but coming from the dealership is 'apparently' covered under the warranty that's all.

+1 , although I had Dunlop Sport Maxx on my car as I got them at a good price 4S were recommended to my by the tyre shop as well as number of others including on this forum.

Pull out the bi-modal fuse, intake and tune should keep you happy for a while. Those are the only three things I did with my clubby. Plus get some good tyres as suggested already. I had dunlop SP sport max, and they had good wet/dry performance, while being much less noisier than the factory...

No problem. Just check the usual stuff like service history, it hasn't had any accidents, tyres are in good condition as they are expensive to replace etc.. Check out the brakes as they are an expensive item to replace as well. Do a PPSR check and get a mechanic inspection prior to purchase.

My Genf Clubsport (LS3) went from 265 KW stock to 291.4 KW with an OTR and Tune. The big gains were in the torque figures, went from 594 NM to 674.2 NM. Obviously it had a different tune, intake and exhaust from the factory compared to the redlines, but it is the same engine.

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx, 255/35 on front and 275/35 on rear of my R8, good performance, wet, dry and braking and didn't break the bank.

Congratulations, the black wheels with silver go really well along with the black highlights. Maybe blackout some of the chrome trim, I've recently done OTR CAI and tune, best bang for buck and highly recommended to 'open it up' a bit :-)

I am with you on the factory bi-modal exhaust on HSVs, they already have a nice sound especially with the fuse pulled out where you can have it 'loud' all the time. Same as you didn't like the S/C whine so compromised getting an auto instead and went LS3 as I could not find a new manual HSV at...

Mate, highly recommended even if you don’t want the exhaust done, OTR and tune will give you max gains besides going s/c route. If you are in Melbourne I would highly recommend DPM.

I've got a dashcam in the car, I'll try and make a short clip before the job and one after it :-) But to your point, it's very hard to tell the actual noise change without driving the car.
