Hey hi_ryder a candy composite would would I tried mucking around with my one with a rattle can of candy red paint and considering the bodgey job I did of spraying it, and it turned out ok'ish. you can still see the pattern that's meant to be there. I will try and post a photo when I can.

I know the VP one presses in and the VR ones bolt up. but what I was wondering if anyone knows of a press in type ball joint that will fit in the vp arm that is similar to the VS style of joint where there is no thread on the ball joint

Hi guys does anyone on here know if there is a lower control arm ball joint that will fit into a VP LCA that is the same as a VR-VS lower ball joint. mainly asking as I want to utilise the later model hub setup for more suspension options

Mate that looks sweet. My problem is my garnish looks clear on the top and outside edges where the stripes go and the centre is still red. do you think that will be able to be brought back to life as there is no cracks in it just faded.

Hey guys unsure if this has been asked before but I have a good condition VP boot garnish trim which is faded and I wanted to repaint it so it back to the red it once was and was wondering what colour is the closest to what it should be the car is a series 2 Calais

is that colour the solar silver colour?

I stripped a VP that was apparently a Calais to use on my Executive the colour code was 1F075 Marranelo red but was 2 tone. I asked a friend at holden and he confirmed it was Calais but on his data was only listing one colour to that car. how can I tell what the other colour would be.

Just had a quick read through it and its a brilliant idea but I'm not the best when it comes to welding up stuff, was hoping there may have been something already pre made which was a direct bolt on/off arrangement
