    VF SS Police Pack

So the Police had a car specially engineered to fit a V8 just so they could bait people at the traffic lights. Sounds like an urban myth at best.

How old are you, are you still in nappies? Most car people would have heard of the old oils ain't oils ads.

    SV6 Ute prices.

It seems a bit of a gamble to pay the current inflated prices for Evoke & SV6 utes, if the market collapses you have little chance of recouping your outlay. It's a time to sell not buy.

    Cam Upgrade

I didn't know sonny had that type of testing equipment. I know Sams Performance does.

    Halogen to LED

Yes if they decide to get you for headlights they go after everything else while they're at it. Some mods like loud exhausts, tuning and wheels usually don't impact greatly on other road users but blinding lights do. Headlight mods are a bad mod that can kill an oncoming driver and passengers...

How thick is the primer/paint/clear on a VF2 Commodore

I’m no detailing wizard but I do take an interest and have always understood rubbing the paintwork to clean it is a big no, no regardless of what type of protective coating is used. No detailer would rub to clean as that would go against all their natural instincts, they would use a cleaning...

    New Headers Advice

Great, what exhaust brand and components do I need to make my LS3 sound just like an old school Cleveland with headers and hotdogs like back in the 1970's? Or an old school 308 as that would be cool as well. .

    VF 2 bonnet vent placement

They might look a bit better if they were in the right location but agree with the earlier comment, they also sit way too proud.

    Dyno tunes LS3

I read the thread and it makes no sense and that's why you haven't been flooded with replies from members offering their figures. Every dyno and operator is different then weather conditions and many other factors come into play so a comparison doesn't mean squat. What you don't understand is...

    Dyno tunes LS3

Then you must understand throwing out such a big number from what are really nothing mods without the baseline reading is going to pose questions and some with doubts. It's not difficult to have the tuner to give you the baseline run to satisfy your own curiosity as well as those you've teased...

Paint Protection. Should I get it or just use a GOOD Polish

You must have spent your 12000km driving in in a vacuum to not pick up contaminants from the road surface, sap from trees and general airborne particles and not have some of them still clinging to the paint regardless of how good your washing solution is. The whole idea of the clay bay is to...

Paint Protection. Should I get it or just use a GOOD Polish

Are you saying that after 12 months of ownership your car had nothing at all sticking to the paint and didn't need a clay bar the smooth it out? I can't see what polish you used, did you lock in the surface with a ceramic coating without first removing even the minor swirls all car get?

    What will you buy?

I'm 49, a young fellow compared to you and had my first of two strokes at 34 and have little use of my left arm and never will. I can sympathise to some extent as my arm is withered and curled and I have a permanent limp but I'm used to remarks particularly from children. I wish I didn't look...

    No surprise

You're seriously taking someone to task for saying talking instead typing, all those forums that have chat facilities will now have to change the name to 'Type Rooms'. You've been firing at members since you joined and what's with all the swearing?

When will the last Holden sell

Yes we were having beer last night and talking about that exact same thing. The Magna was a great car for its time and yet the public shunned it like it was diseased. Makes me wonder if the Commodores currently on dealership lots will suffer the same fate.

    No surprise

So all those Opel sales going to people who prefer to throw their cash away on poor quality cars, those people should be talking to you for advice, it makes me wonder who it is that really has their wires crossed. The company that owns Opel is now the second biggest manufacturer in Europe and...

    Oil change

It's not just the oil you need to worry about with a garage queen, there are many components that require use to keep them in good order such as seals that need lubrication. So a long drive to ensure the operating temperature is reached and maintained for some time is vital unless you have a box...

    LS3 CAM 224/228 OR 224/232 CHOICE

Why not, Walkinshaw wouldn't provide the spec sheet if it's that big a secret? I'd guess it's a tried and trusted grind that Walkinshaw would have rebadged like everything else they sell. Anyway Wiki Leaks will eventually release it to the world.

The King is dead. Long live the King! RIP Commodore :-(

BMW used concentration camp labour during WW2 to build aircraft engines for German planes. So why stop there, don’t buy any products from Japan or Germany or maybe just move on.

Why I would not buy a GM product again

Thinking of putting the stock springs back in my VFII Redline

It's easy to take the cheap option when lowering and end up with an unsatisfactory result. Eibach have a formidable reputation but obviously these were the wrong springs for what the OP wanted to achieve. That's where going to a suspension shop that knows their craft is invaluable compared to...

Lowering help on Springs with Large Wheels

From the look of your photo the inner lip of the guard looks rippled, if that is the case are you already rubbing on the tyre? You may get more help with your enquiry if you provide the offset and width of the rims and the full specs of the tyres.

How much better is a 2015 Gen F R8 Wagon VS 2016 SSV Red Line Wagon

Yes HSV and Holden were doing this for a long time. HSV's were known not to produce the power many buyers were expecting.
