Would having J pipes in addition to the hot dogs help eliminate that drone?

I am replacing my rear mufflers with 2 1/2" tail pipes with hot dogs from VEOnline. (Going on a SV6 VES2) What are people's experiences with these, and how likely am I to get pulled over and a** raped for them by the police?

I want to spray the stock rims on my VE Series 2 SV6 to matte black. I am wondering what the pro's and cons of using paint vs plasti dip and what people's experiences are with both. Also has anyone used VHT brake caliber paint? If I wanted to spray these as well what would I need to consider?

I have read through some threads on this and have seen that mostly it's recommended to get a MACE flash tune. Now that MACE no longer have a LLT tune available for my car (MY11 SV6 auto) what is my best option? And won't I need to retune after most mods?
