The radiator isn't to bad I cleaned it out probly 6 months ago gave the motor a flush and new coolant . I am going to film what its doing and post it up . I will also put up a photo of what the temp is sitting on when it happens

so i have checked leads alternator belt dizzy swapped ignition module everything seems to be fine and still having the same problem I have found that if I don't get stuck in traffic I have no problems its only happening when I get stuck in traffic I'm a bit lost on this one

thanks mate I will recheck them just to make sure I missed something it runs fine in the mornings drive for an hour no problems but on the way home when there is traffic it starts running rough and loose power.

alternators charging I haven't noticed the lights dim and its missing when idling at the lights go to take off it shutters really bad then once moving it has no power and struggles to get to 80

I have recently replaced the coil and the fuel pump

its running rough as I loss of power when accelerating nearly stalls taking off from the lights and idles rough at the lights

okay ill give that a go I have had some previous problems with the ignition module before put a cheap one in lasted few months and swapped back to the old one and ran fine until now

I'm not to sure about the timing what its set at and thank you I will start checking ignition items also how would I check to see what the timing is set at

My ute drives fine when its cold once I have been driving for 45 mins or temp goes over half it will start running rough . when takeing off from lights it will nearly stall any ideas would be great not sure where to start

I would start with the ignition module and ignition coil I had a similar problem

[B[/B] hello I am having trouble refitting a ecotec motor. I would like to know if anyone has any tricks for the engine mounts I'm finding it very hard to line up and drop them in any help would be great.

Also wondering when putting the motor back in is there a trick to getting the engine mounts to sit in the holes am having a bit of trouble getting them in

Has anyone fixed this problem is happening to a friends car
