Throttle Response 2006 VE omega V 3.6l auto

Just put this stainless steel SuperCat muffler on the VE and its great! Only $230 and it came from Melbourne over night. Absolutely no loss of power down low and not too loud at all but still loud enough for a nice idle and at WOT. Best part is its legal! This has to be the best muffler I have...

Throttle Response 2006 VE omega V 3.6l auto

Will post a pic of the CAI installed when I get a chance. I'll also grab a few shots of the spacer install this weekend too... That MACE CAI is bloody awesome! very noticeable down low then roars at WOT. So much better than the panel you can feel it! Highly recommend this CAI if you dont want an...

Throttle Response 2006 VE omega V 3.6l auto

Throttle controller arrived in only one day from revhigh. Installed it this morning. Really impressed with the fast delivery and the product. Had to remove the pedal to get at the plugs though so that was a bit fidly. Instant throttle response as promised. I have only tried up to sp4 mode but...

2016 new release, Stealth 3.0 Performance Controller for Holden, Ford etc.

Great product guys. Bit tricky trying to access the plugs on the VE commodore throttle\pedal however, I managed to remove the panel behind the steering column I then unbolted the accelerator pedal to let it drop down. Once that was done i could get to the plugs and it was smooth sailing from...

    Mystery Chime

Did you find out what this beeping is? I too have this now after using the GPS on the way to Sydney on Monday and the mofo has been beeping ever since. I wonder if its picking up on speed traps or the change of one zone to the next? as mine is the alpine commodore kit 7' inch touch screen DVD...

    Pod filter on SIDI 3.0L

Now replace the rest of the piping from the MAF to the Throttle Body to get rid of that restrictive resonator box! then you'll be able to really hear the filter roar! That was I was looking at doing but decided to just get the MACE version instead as it comes with a new fully enclosed pod box...

    Stealth throttle controller

Clean your throttle body, intake manifold and maf. Also check your plugs etc if you have flat spots. A throttle controller isnt going to "fix" a mechanical issue!

    Require help with a sub

Subs are a pain in the A*&SE! Cost me $220 to have mine wired up that s with the sub supplied and all its wiring but I also needed some av cable for my alpine HU so that cost a bit more. Should be about 2 hours labor cost not including any cables or high pass filters you may need.

Throttle Response 2006 VE omega V 3.6l auto

Well I took the Hurricane rear muffler off and put the standard chrome tip back on. Got sick of how it shifted the power and tq up past 3k as that was not very practical in peak hour traffic. Also, in 4th, just cruising along it sounded and felt like it was labouring a bit. I guess I didn't...

Throttle Response 2006 VE omega V 3.6l auto

Yes im quite keen on the stealth but before that I think im going to give the MACE spacers a go. People cant seem to say enough good things about them and I see no negative reports. On a bit of a budget until the misses gets another job so the spacers seem the best value atm.

Throttle Response 2006 VE omega V 3.6l auto

Ok, I have a 2006 VE OMEGA V (Spoiler with no Omega badge model) 4 speed auto, and as we all know the throttle response on VE is rubbish to say the least. It certainly is not my old NA XR6 for example and I knew it wouldn't be but I just could not get over the lag in the throttle! So I managed...
