    You need to remove the steering wheel, which means removing the airbag... (it's not as bad as it sounds) The stalks are clipped into the clockspring housing its a squeeze the tabs and slide... Make sure you don't move the clockspring as the steering angle sensor is in there too.... I'll try find...

    So.... After replacing the clock spring the airbag fault DID correct itself!!! Now I've got the ESP turning itself off strait away.... I'm assuming that it's probably the steering angle sensor needing to be re calibrated... Is there a procedure to do this without the tech2?

    Really???? I'm also aware of the "dounut" rubber at the top of the strut failing... You can usually tell its toast just by looking at it... will be turning upwards like someones done the nut up to tight...

    Inside to boot, Take off the trim panels behind the lights... there are 3-4 10mm nuts (plastic) If i remember right, you need a deep socket to get them off I'd post pics but dont think I can yet on this site....

    I could understand it doing it if you were on the breaks (engine breaking) but mines random af... sometimes it does it other times it doesnt, sometimes drops down 1 gear sometimes 2. I am wondering if its a wheel speed sensor or the throttle body is poked. But will let the trans guys have a go...
