I think having the two batteries is a good idea because you have strong cranking power for a longer period of time.

Thanks for replying. The arcing sound came from the front... It sounded like electrical sparking but with the "beat" of the normal starter sound...so instead of the normal starter motor/motor turning over...the same beat but with the sparking/arcing sound. Today, instead, there was nothing at all.

I think it has something to do with the auto power setting for the headlights which give you that "see you home" lighting at night. To test that theory, set your light switch to manual from auto and see if the dash lights go out on shut down.

You obviously didn't read the original post and so I won't bother trying to re-explain. Your response is a worthy as tits on a bull and about as useful.

That's why I run dashcams on the front windscreen and the back window at all times in both cars that we have. Time stamped video evidence can save you so much heartache in any dispute with other drivers or the police. Also good if you are on your own and you have a bingle with the other driver...

Do you have a wagon or sedan? I have a police pack bog standard Evoke. The only difference is, I think, heavy duty suspension, blind spot monitoring and an extra batter on the driver's side of the cargo bay. The extra battery in my car still has all the connectors for various police bits...
