CTSV Brakes installation and 18” Rim fitment

Has anyone got measurements of these calipers with the 370mm rotor? I've got a set of Koya SF13 18x9 +30 but thinking about upgrading to 6 piston brembos for track use. Should have plenty of clearance to the spokes, just worried about the barrel. See Koya's diagrams where D (~210mm) and E could...

    Tailgunners Deplorable wagon

Nice man, sounds like a handful lol. Yeah getting one in a few weeks just deciding on what specs. Probably going with the smaller 224/230 114 option, instead of 233/233 113. Should be better for boost way down the track too haha.

    Tailgunners Deplorable wagon

Nice power result, do you know the cam specs? How's it like to drive? Stock diff ratio?

My VE II SSV Redline Sportwagon

Cheers mate! Yeah I think one solution might have been to stiffen springs/damping as the stock body roll was just way too much for me. When I get a dedicated set of semi slicks I'll think about the setup again. Pretty sure wagons came with smaller sway bars stock though. Main problem is the...

My VE II SSV Redline Sportwagon

Figure it's finally time for a cam. Leaning towards something like 224/230 114 LSA, but could go for something more extreme like 233/233 113 LSA. Any thoughts?

My VE II SSV Redline Sportwagon

Yep you're definitely right! Got superpro sway bars and bushings. Amazing difference on track and nicer around town too. It feels like there's a bit less overall grip but it's so much more progressive. Before I was worried about suddenly losing traction but now I can comfortably push it right...

My VE II SSV Redline Sportwagon

Got some nice shots from the last Queensland Raceway track day. Best time was a 1:03.7 on the sprint circuit. Was able to keep up with quite a few cars including an LS1 BMW and a VF GTS. Lots of body roll even with stiffened coilover damping so I'm getting some superpro sway bars for next time...

    MY12.5 SSV Z Series Sportswagon

Looks great! Really like the hsv tail lights :) Imo the rear brembo calipers make a fairly small difference around town. Where they really shine is after a few heavy stops on the track. For a daily some nice pads and fluid will make a bigger difference. How hard was the gauge cluster install...

    hurricane headers+cats

About how much clearance do you have to the flange and cat? I've got around 95mm with the same headers. Not game to go any lower...

My VE II SSV Redline Sportwagon

Been on the site for a while now so I figure it's about time I made one of these. Here's my 2010 VE II SSV Redline Sportwagon. Still a long way from finished but it's blast on the road and track. More photos to come. New Wheels by Treeman574 posted Jul 31, 2018 at 8:54 PM275 Fronts by...

    Rear Brembo Upgrade

Finally had a chance to test the rear brakes at Norwell. Went great with HPX pads and DBA rotors.

    Rear Brembo Upgrade

I've got every part but the bolts for the rear brembo conversion on my VE. Two separate Holden dealers told me the rear bolts (GM# 92139080) are $29 each. Seems pretty steep. Anywhere else I can get these quickly and cheaply?
