    VS T5 Gearbox Ratios Question....

    V8 input shaft CANNOT be fitted to a V6 gearbox. The gear on the V8 shaft has 24 teeth, the V6 has 23 teeth. The front gear on the cluster in the V8 gearbox has 31 teeth, the V6 has 34 teeth.

    Ve V6 Alternator

    V6 VE Series 1 made after September 2009, VE Series 2 and VFs (i.e. anything that is SIDI (LLT and LFX engines), NOT LY7) had an Alternator Decoupling Pulley on the alternator. VZs and early VE Series 1 (with LY7 engines) didn't have the ADP. Don't put an VZ alternator on a post September 2009...
