    Water leak at transmission top inlet pipe

    I was unable to fit a spanner as it was channel recessed and I would have had to remove the oil line to the tranny to stick a socket on it. NeddyBear, the radiator itself is good, just a minor problem with a loose locking nut.

    OK, removed battery and undid 3 bolts holding power steering reservoir to gain access to fitting. using a mirror I confirmed where the leak was coming from. Used a flathead screwdriver and hammer to tighten inner brass thin nut. I managed to turn it about 5mm.Replaced everything and took car out...

    I had a radiator replaced 3 years ago. A few days ago I noticed water leaking from the top transmission pipe on the drivers side going into the radiator. I tightened up the the pipe. No luck. It appears to be coming from between the casing and the thin inlet nut on the radiator. Any advice...
