100k supercharged camaro from HSV and they were selling 100k HSV Commodores last year seems a better fit to their standard practise and customer base something a lot more people would probably have considered.

Yeah you are right, but the costs Ford put into designing and manufacturing the Mustang in RHD is big too. And the fact is the market is the market, you need to be competitive and offer a competitive car on multiple factors including price against the competitors. It’s simply just not $20k worth...

I think I’ll add that even with cheap capped priced servicing I don’t take my car to the dealer. I’m one of the few that do everything myself. I don’t trust the dealers and havnt had good experiences when it comes to handing over keys to my pride and joy to randoms. When I do it, it’s done...

Capped price service for a new SS is about $219. Not bad. From memory in my book.

I’d say due to their lack of sales and stockpiling rubbish and the fact they were having a massive “sale” and not talking to customers on the showroom floor but on the phone is a pretty good indicator of the times. Oh well. Maybe if they had something good these days...
