Dealer called today asking for colour preference. Really struggling to make a decision on colour for my Director, Black, Silver, White or Grey? I am leaning towards Black or white but I would assume the black doesn't actually get a black roof, it will just be Phantom like the rest of the car...

Not sure... I did test drive a Senator LSA last weekend at a big Qld dealer and they had 6 orders for Directors and only received 1 car. I am sure they could sell it to someone else if I decided to let to go.

Hey Cuda Yes happy for others to pass on the product guide as I am being bombarded by people and don't have time to send to everyone. I was luckily enough to get from a dealer but I believe it is an internal document for dealers only.

RRP is $750 for car cover plus if you want a build number and name on it its another $220. They are made by Covercraft.

I'm now debating on giving up the Director and going for a GTS.

Problem with Silver (Nitrate) in the Holden/HSV is the bumpers don't match the body, this has been a complaint for a long time. Seems Black or white is the pick for Director, admittedly you won't notice roof on black car

Good call 426Cuda! I have owned a lot of nice cars including M5, C63, RS5, ISF and many more and have to say the VF series is up there with all of them on build quality and value for money, hence why I am looking to go back to VF Director or HSV Senator/GTS for my next car.

Just out of interest how much different do you find the GTS to the Redline besides the obvious power difference, much difference in fuel economy?

You sure on that, I sat in a 2016 GTS yesterday and the steering wheel felt thicker than the Redline, may be wrong though?

Any idea if the Motorsport and Director wil use the same steering wheel as the HSV cars or are the HSV steering wheels thicker?

That's ridiculous! Bartons Holden at Capalaba in Queensland had 3 MSE Auto's still available on Saturday. You would have to obviously have it shipped and pay your own on road costs. Give them a call and see what they say

While not i Victoria, I know of a local Qld dealer who has 3 MSE Auto available as of Saturday afternoon, price was $72,647 Drive away in Qld, obviously less if buying interstate as no on road costs

You are being RIPPED! Walked into my local Holden dealer earlier today and they had a Director unspoken for, $72,600 Drive away, no discount and $4,000 Dealer Delivery, while I know I am over paying for Dealer Delivery and ultimately paying full RRP, they are limited and dealer offer to refund...

Thats ridiculous!! Hopefully they are/or become collectors items sometime in future. I will be using mine as a Daily Driver putting plenty of km on unless someone wants to buy of me prior.
