That's the thing the thermostat didn't fail it's brand new, it just got something jammed in it. I Changed the Thermostat housing with a brand new one from Holden already. Just super weird to have that metal floating around in the cooling system.

I'm just the unlucky one that got stuck with the repairs the previous owner was to tight fisted to do.

It is made of a thin steel and used to be a complete ring but it broke when i was handling it. It is extremely brittle.

The RCA Output on the amp will work for speakers as well as subs. Here is an example that allowed my headunit which only had one set of rca's run two amps.

What's the model number of the headunit? Should be able to find the instruction manual online if it helps and i dare say you want to adjust the high pass filter?

Yeah good points, My current wagon was a Q Fleet car in Queensland when new. I haven't driven an LS1 yet but the L67 optioned WH was a blast to drive. I wasn't aware though that there isn't any L67 utes, but probably the same reasoning.
