umm not sure where the water is getting in, but i'm assuming it'll be similair to where yours was, so these seals are removable & easily replaceble? i'm pretty sure i know what you mean, but when i took the garnish off last week, i'm not sure if the seals came off, i didn't wanna rip them off...

ah nice cheers thomo, are they easy to replace / repair if that is the problem? do you mean the rubber seal thats about 10 centimetres tall by 5 wide in an oval shape around the inside side of the tail light?

hmm well it's the center bit that surrounds the boot lid, not the tailights on either corner of the actual boot.... do you mean on the inside or outside of the boot?

oh and also, for those out there that have actually handled the stock VT/VX head unit when it's been out of the car, is it relatively simple to get the face plate off of it?

nah i only want to false head unit to sit in there whenever i'm not in the car, as a security thing, not when i'm drivin around! can i suggest you buy the head unit at a retailer? i searched long and hard for it on ebay and the best price i could find (from someone that sounded reputable!)...
