Yeah I was expecting more. But I guess compared to a W407 setup its still better than that. Mine was on BP Ultimate for the tune before cam. Then on the new NPD 100 octane here in NZ. For the cam tune. So that should of also helped.

If you want a comparison between non camed and camed on same dyno. Here is my graph going from Walkinshaw W375 kit with a tune. To getting the cam done a few weeks back. Mine is manual and for the gains I got vs cost. Dont think for performance id do the same again. Cam was 224/232 112lsa

Id say it is for sure. Ive just had a cam done in my and dont really find it that much better. Just sounds nicer. Gives a bit more in the top end, but not where you use it daily. Having the exhaust done previously, I noticed much more than the cam.

Do you mind me asking roughly what it cost. Ive already got lowered (Walkinshaw) springs. But looking to put some short shock in also.

Just had my cam installed 224/232 112lsa. Interesting tune from generic W375 to custom tune (1 picture) gave more increase than (2 picture) with the cam install. Also cam was tuned on higher octane. But it does sound much better.

Does anyone have a dyno sheet they can post from a Walkinshaw W407 tune. Had a W375 kit on my car. Just had a cam done now also 224/232 112lsa. Gains were not a lot from a custom W375 tune. But im happy with it. But be interested what sort of curve official W407 kit does.

Bringing up an older thread.. But does anyone know the max kw and torque rating for the standard VF2 manual clutch. (cant find it with google searches) I know the TR6060 gearbox is pretty bulletproof. But is putting 340kw (at wheels) and 800nm through the clutch to much for the factory one after...

So after talking with local shop and trying to figure out best cam for my car. Suggestion is I go for a 228/236 with either 112 or 113 lobe with .600 lift. Is anyone running this as seems not the most common cam. My aim is for mid range power.

Ok so seems with good tune it wont be to much worse with a cam. No way I could get economy you guys in Australia get. Roads I travel on are hilly and windy. Im stoked to get 11-12 L/100 km

Now I have a manual rather than auto SS. What is max rev's you can take 6.2l SS to before changing gear. Ive always gone to about 6000rpm if I feel like having a blast. But watching a video on YouTube. Saw someone on track taking it to about 6600rpm in every gear. I presume if you take it...

Red Lion has a wagon. I have a sedan. So I'd think there would be difference. I could be wrong but think Wagon also has a heavy duty spring in rear, when fitted with King springs.

Just got mine back from shop and really happy with height. Rides much nicer over bumps than it did with SSSL. Its now got SL front and rear. So sits about 10mm higher than SS Flo Rida's car. For my needs perfect balance between looks and ride quality over the bumpy roads we have here.

Hi Red Lion, Hopefully have it sorted now. Shop is going to replace rear rims and tires with same as front. Wont have the wider rear look. But hopefully will work fine. Will be a 20x9 with 255 32r20 tire and 40mm offset.

Yeah considering I had 20x11's first and they said that would work. Now 20x10 and they said would definitely be ok as done a few like that. Be interesting what they say when I have a go at them tomorrow
