    Mate you’re a bloody legend…. Found the issue It was a broken factory wire joint… (orange with black stripe) broken @ the 3 plug junction in the engine where engine loom connects to firewall Can’t thank you guys enough for the info and help REALLY appreciate

    Ok so firstly thank you very much for the info…. There is only 1.6 bolts at pin 16 and zero bolts at pin 6 And yea the code readers would not power up

    Ok cheers heaps ….3 or a 4 wire what ? Plug? My mate just tried connecting his scan tool to the obd port and there’s no connection… just like when I tried to bridge the pins 5&6

    Yeah got the vx to compare Once I know what wires to test with multimeter, I’ll start at the ignition and work towards the pcm… is it just one signal wire to come or would it be multiple?

    Yeah no worries I’ll try get a mate to scan it as I can’t scan it and the pin bridge on 5&6 on obd doesn’t work… so it is a guessing game until I get it scanned. Is there any link to the workshop manual or wiring schematic associated with the bcm and pcm etc ?? Can anyone tell me what wires...

    That doesn’t help if I don’t know which wore I’m looking for … that’s the question I’m asking now is what wire sends signal to the pcm to start the fuel and I’ll test it

    Well it cranks fine so I assume it’s fine ? Does the coolant temp sensor or knock sensors cause any of these issues ?

    Motor and loom came out of a wh stato…. Just tried another loom and still nothing… so surely this rules almost everything from the engine bay yeah?

    The pcm is vats removed so no need to link anything i assume? And I only have a crappy scan tool that doesn’t connect to the Holden obd software unfortunately so I’ve only tried the paper clip option to get fault codes which didn’t work either

    I’m having exactly the same issue, only mine cranks just no fuel pump relay power, no windows, not even headlights but all dash lights etc. I heard the oil pressure sensor can cause a no start issue but I changed mine and still nothing

    I think I’m having the same issue with my wh Ls1… I’ve been trying to get it running for ages now and has no power going to the relay, but when I bridge it, pump runs sweet… also have no spark I think I’ll try the oil pressure switch tonight

    No power at fuel pump fuse or relay And there’s a clicking under dash and what sounds like on top of gearbox next to shifter????

    STARTING PROBLEM SOLVED turned out that I didn’t connect the crank angle sensor (facepalm) how stupid of me ... but now it fires up and stalls ... security light still flashes while cranking Sometimes needs multiple turns of the key to get it to fire up as well

    Ok so update.... I don’t actually have spark I just assumed I did Only have 1wire on each side with 11.4 v One being red and one being light green ( both H on the plug Coil packs loom have power on the same red wire but no spark on leads

    I don’t think it’s vats problem as it doesn’t start at all... only turns over for a couple revolutions then cuts out Abs wires cut Cruise control wires cut Rear window wiper wires cut Radio, power window and other pink wire also cut I assume they’re all redundant if I’m not using them amd...

    Yes got all that key and ring etc I had a whole donor car here The rubber hoses were old... I’ve bought new ones yet to be fitted

    I’ve got this plug loose and not sure where it goes (see pic)... it’s behind engine and above gbox I’ve used the complete wiring /ecu/ ignition setup from the vt ss including key /barrel etc I’m using stock reg with a Bosch 044 equivalent pump... mate of mine with burnout car Ls1 says stock...

    If I spray start ya bastard it’ll fire briefly I took the valve out the end of rail and turned pump on ... fuel pissed out 3m from engine so I guess I have pressure lol I need hi pressure lines before I go to much further... keep bursting rubber fuel lines All injectors have 5.3 v with key on...
