    MCA Reds vs Shockworks

The helper spring is just to locate the main spring, the rears have them on the commodores so when you jack the car off the ground the main spring is held in place and doesn't spin on the top mount. It's a very light spring that just compresses flat when the car is on the ground.

    MCA Reds vs Shockworks

I have MCA Purples in my Ve ute. Also run the remote adjusters which is very handy. Have had experience with Cusco, Ohlins and a few others previously in Jap cars. The MCA's are definitely up there, know a few people with them in different cars and they all love them. Have no experience with...

    ve ss suspension upgrade

100% Agree with this, I had Bilsteins and Lovells. Was ok. But coming from Jap cars it wasn't even close to what I wanted. Then fitted some MCA Purples and the car had a massive improvement in handling and feel. Went further and did Superpro diff, & subframe bushes. The car has transformed...

Axle Tramp - Is there an actual solution?

Swaybars are a tuning tool is exactly right, if they are fitted too tight or not tight enough no matter how good the brochure looks they can have a severely adverse effect on the cars characteristics. My coilovers also adjustable valving. The car's handling at the moment is very neutral, but...

Axle Tramp - Is there an actual solution?

Didn't ditch them, just kept the standard ones. Will make the car too stiff and skip instead of gripping.

Axle Tramp - Is there an actual solution?

Update, Everything installed and aligned and problem solved. Pushing it through some hills runs, the feel of the car has been massively transformed from what it was (Lovells ssl & struts). Was also planning to do sway bars & links but discussions with the guys at MCA has turned me off doing...

Axle Tramp - Is there an actual solution?

Apparently the VF GTS (as well as GTSR & W1) axles are miss matched diameter like the Gforce ones. Will VF GTS axles fit VE? Could be an additional option if so.

Axle Tramp - Is there an actual solution?

Mine has a blower already. I'm not worried about the wine it's not a daily. Strange that it stopped after fitting a blower though.

Axle Tramp - Is there an actual solution?

I've been doing a fair bit of reading on here and elsewhere regarding this and nothing has given me a solid answer. My car suffers from pretty bad tramp. Currently running 550rwhp I've just installed MCA coilovers and Superpro void fillers, I have diff bushes also that will go on the car in...

The VE Commodore Wheel Fitment Guide**UNDER CONSTRUCTION**

Long studs are in & I tried it with the spacers, clears the calipers by a bees dick but looks ridiculously Mexican, lot of camber, stretch and a guard roll would make it work but I'm no fan of hella flush. So instead I'm looking at a set of Koya SF04's Anyone know what size & offset (and tyre...

    VE Wheel offset question

Appreciate the replies guys, I'm well aware of the legalities in regards to spacers and wheel poke. 255s are a little narrower then I was hoping, currently with decent 245s it spins through 1st & 2nd which is fun but I'm wanting a bit more rubber. I like the way these wheels look on the car...

Just noticed this thread so deleted the other one I posted and copied here....... Hi guys, new here & to commodores but not new to modding cars. Just after some info on if/how much I may need to roll the guards to get the wheels to fit. The rears are 19x10 +40 with some decent dish but I have...
