Losh's latest, 955 Triumph Sprint ST

Later Sprints had 118hp. Think it was just in the tune. Twist the throttle a bit more, should go not too bad once in the revs.

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

In my field you don't need to be registered to see Self and Plan managed Participants. I was registered before they changed the rules and previously met all the requirements. If the business was banned for 5 years then I think they were probably doing something they shouldn't have and more than...

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

Just some general NDIS information on sole provider requirements. I have been a registered provider since NDIS inception. A few years ago the rules changed for registered providers and I had to do a three yearly audit of my service at a cost of more than $10,000 . Most sole providers can't...

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

I'm a sole NDIS provider. I'm almost embarrassed to say that these days as I hear these comments about we're all ripping off the system. I can tell you that my business ran far better before the NDIS was introduced. The high level of bureaucracy involved with the NDIS makes running the business...

Should have read your post better. Definitely worries me to have a system that doesn't have some form of battery back up.

    Home Security Cameras

What's everyone doing to protect the electricity source to their security systems? Have seen battery back up for the more old fashioned screamer systems. What protection do you have with these modern internet systems if you lose power or thieves cut the power?

Has anyone attempted a auto service on VF or WN without a dip stick

Good luck with it. I definitely had the cats off the headers. Think you'll have more room that way too.

Has anyone attempted a auto service on VF or WN without a dip stick

Hi, This install was a while ago now, but I did get the trans tube through from the top with the HSV headers fitted. What exhaust manifolds you run may make a difference. I think "Dassaur" on here got his fitted from underneath. I disconnected the trans loom connection plugs and had the 02...

    VE/VF Auto Transmission Dipsticks

Yeah, I reckon that's what I paid too. I think mine was around $150AU all up landed.

    VE/VF Auto Transmission Dipsticks

I bought mine about four to five years ago when the dollar was a bit better than what it is now and freight charges were reasonable. Member "krusing" last year was quoted about $80US for freight when he was looking at them, so all up, dipstick and freight would be about $240AU. I paid a lot less...

Eibach in VF 2 SSV Redline

I have them in my ute, No complaints and probably a better ride than stock springs. Mine sits at 370mm on all corners from the middle of the hub to top of gaurd. 30mm less than stock.

Power limit of mods with VF1 SSV stock exhaust

I guess there's variation in the tunes from different establishments but mine shifts firmer in sports and manual mode.

Power limit of mods with VF1 SSV stock exhaust

Would definitely want the firmer shifts in sports mode, not just manual mode.

Power limit of mods with VF1 SSV stock exhaust

I've said it before, I was just as happy with my trans tune as the engine tune. Made a huge difference to the driving experience.

How much for a full 340Kw exhaust system

Think the prices have gone up too because the cats are worth good money through the re-cycle yards.

    Crypto Currencies

Even after paying taxes that's a mighty profit in 3 years. At my age that would be instant retirement. I got some tips years ago and didn't act. Looks like I'll be working for a fair while longer. Sigh!

    Manta exhaust Drone

Gotta love some exhaust fitters throwing away the support brace instead of modifying or adapting it to fit!

    100 CEL Rasp

I have this same noise in the same place when I fitted my 100 cel cats. Seemed more of an issue when free revving as you say. Can't really hear it when I'm in the cabin.

    VE/VF Auto Transmission Dipsticks

It was a Janetty one just like the you're looking at. I purchased it through Janetty about 3 years ago. The price of the tube/dipstick was about the same as it is now but I did a lot better on postage. Freight charges are a killer these days. Here's a link to my install...

    VE/VF Auto Transmission Dipsticks

I put one in my VF. They're a bit fiddly to fit but I think well worth it.

    Thoughts on this dyno graph?

I had a throttle controller on mine before it got tuned. Told the tuner I had it on and he told me to take it off before I delivered the car to them. While I did notice faster throttle response from less pedal movement with the throttle controller on, I was never really happy with the feel of...

    VF2 SS - Black edition

Great stuff. Did you get a trans tune as well?
  26. V

    Is this worth tuning...

I have a VCM too and I'm as happy with the trans tune as the engine tune. If Auto you'll notice a big difference even if you don't get maximum engine numbers.

    Performance/Tuning/Dyno places in Adelaide

I went to Morpowa, Very happy with the tune and service. If your car is auto have the trans tuned as well. Transforms the car. I used HSV headers / centre section and high flow cats. Morpowa uses Manta exhausts which are great but a little expensive. Will depend on your budget.

    The turbo Barra brigade

I currently own both VF ls3 ute and BF turbo ute. The BF would have got it early but the win in a standard 1/4 mile run would go to the VF. I have high praise for the turbo Barras, mine has been faultless. I was supposed to sell it when I got my VF but it's been such a good car I keep finding...

Well done to the third company. I'd go with them on principle. The other two sound lazy.

    Thoroughly recommend having it done.

    Dyno tunes LS3

Transmission changes quicker and seems more intuitive. Changes are firmer without being unpleasant and probably the best thing is it kicks down a gear earlier when accelerating keeping the car in a decent rev range instead of labouring in a higher gear. I always thought they were a bit sluggish...

    Dyno tunes LS3

For others considering mods using recycled HSV parts. I had my car on the Dyno the other week. 340 HSV headers, 2 1/2" HSV centre section, 100 cel cats, VCM OTR Result was 288rwkw. Also had the trans tuned and really happy with how good the car shifts now.

Has anyone attempted a auto service on VF or WN without a dip stick

@dassaur Good stuff. Yes it's definitely a bit fiddly and it took me a few goes to get it right too. I really like it and it will make trans fluid changes a lot easier in the future.

    VF2 SS - Black edition

You're probably right, I think it could be done with an extra 300-400mm pipe extension. Might look at it one day. Not overly pressing.
