Yep, i lowered mine with pedders springs, you may get some scraping at front end if not careful, just need to consider kerbs when parking, added armourguard on mine

2017 VF2 3.6L Wagon. Daily drive, city and suburbs travel a min of 300k per week, occasional weekend trip. Average speed 43.7km/h and 9.9l/100k fuel. Best is 7l/100km. For a large car I reckon this is pretty good.

I have not yet ordered one. Trying to get best option to suit fitment. The Elite for the LFX fits to engine cover plug but its not a bolt type on the Commodore. Any suggestions on which type ?

I had mine installed by Winguard, small company in Adel. . The film they use is XPEL Protective Films.

I too have the same car and overall is a good package and happy. However have noted the transmission is prob its weak link. In saying that it is smooth thru the gears. Check out the attached GM Tech reports. You may be experiencing the Garage Clunk. Its a shame GM have been aware of these...

Thanks for reply panhead, I agree a tune would improve output, the car is only just under a year old so little hesitant to go ahead while still under warranty and void the cover ? Or would a safe tune by reputable tuner be within guidelines of Holden ?

Gday I would like to upgrade mine on VF11 SV6 to SSV flat bottom. The local Holden dealership is reluctant/ uncomfortable to swap due to a difference in bolt? Is there any problem with upgrade due to any difference in specs, column bolts etc or impact on warranty ? Any advice very welcomed. Cheers

Hi, I have a new VF MY17 SV6 and have this same noise. It is associated with the Transmission. See attached report from GM. Nothing that can be done apparently, it is to do with a torque spike. I have noticed that it has seemed to have backed off, or I have detuned myself to the noise. Not sure...

Appears like its a characteristic of this trans. Yeah the ratio of gears seems good...nice smooth changes and range. Did it occur in your VE ? It does seem to have settled, maybe my focus on the sound has diminished !
