just drove from townsville to darwin. and was getting 900km per tank till i hit the NT. god i love the open speed limits. NT roads are great.

also when you re-install your parcel shelf stuff some packing foam under there. it helps with the sound

i just had my power steering done( if i had of known how easy it was i would of done it myself), the o-ring was worn flat and fluid was leaking pretty badly out of the back of the pump. i've used that stop leak for a while and it worked for a couple of weeks then leaked again. but its done

my pump has been leaking for over 6 months and hasnt caused any dramas, the only reason im getting it fixed is i got drive to darwin coming up and i dont want it blowing up in the middle of woop woop

turns out it was the sway bar bushes. cheers guys

hows it going, i got a leaking power steering pump as well you can get a brand spanker from holden for $395(not fitted) or head down to repco parts and you can get a factory reconditioned 1 for a $135(not fitted). i rang around a few mechs around townsville and most are in the $330 fitted plus...

i just checked out the calipers and thats not it. i aint the tierods, and it aint the bearing. so i gunna have to wait till next week to take it the mech

I just had my brakes Done by repco yesterday and the knocking only started today so the calipers could be it. (did'nt even think of it). Cheers

just recently i've noticed a knocking noise from the drivers side wheel. i rocked the steering wheel when the car was parked and off and it made the knocking noise. it somtimes does it when i turn. does anybody have any ideas on what it could be? cheers

brought the new handle from holden today cost $48.50 not to bad, took me nearly and hour to work out how it went, but i got there in the end. :thumbsup:

i went to get into my car today and the outside door handle wont open the door. the inside door handle still works (its a bit of a pain in the butt having to climb through the passenger side). has anyone had this problem if so how did the fix it and how much did it cost? :b:

use that double sided sticky velcro you get from spotlight i got it on my sub boxes and it works fine. so if i need to get to my spare i just lift them out.
