Sorry to bring up an old post just looking for advice on putting an ls1 into a 99 WH grange it's the v6 s/c model is it a straight forward swap? And can I put a gen3 ls1 in or would it have to be the series I ls1

Just wondering if anyone knows if the conversion is hard for my wh grange v6 super charged auto to a auto ls1 or is it just a straight swap out? Any advice would be appreciated not the most mechanical minded but wanting to give it a go if it's simple enough
