Oh dear, my missus my12 sv6 has been making a strange rattle under acceleration for a while now, could this be the culprit.

Use that in wifeys VE sv6, we have a noisy ticking in the engine but it's not the oil causing it.

Running Edge 0w40 in my LS1, tech line told me it's there best oil. My engine likes it, quiet, maintains oil pressure even when driven hard and its PAO Ester based oil. Probably overkill but who cares.

No it's a good idea for people that want the widest tyre without rubbing, that's why hsv have +57, its all about offset mate.

Well your still 9mm short with the offset so I wouldn't assume it will be fine. If your pushing the limit in width the offset needs to be spot on, hence my earlier post re gtsr.

Hsv gtsr rears are 20x10 with +57 offset, no rubbing. I've seen 295's on em with no problem.

Yep some great advice here, you are now in a great position to negotiate so make them work for it. Not many manuals available and if you are after that specific colour there's only a few to choose from. Have you driven one yet?

Like I said, drive a c63 which in theory should be better than the gtsr, and a little pricier, weigh up servicing costs, then drive the gtsr, I know which one you'll choose. At least your comparing apples with apples, performance wise that is. Just to add Dane80, the gtsr is a frreaking awesome...
