It does have medium size resonators in the mid pipe section. Wondering what straight thru mufflers would bolt onto the X-Force system???? Any ideas?

Ok so I ended up getting a 2.5" X-Force cat back system a few weeks ago. I'm happy with the deeper note but it is sooo quite. Admitting I have have only driven it approx 3 times since it was installed. Wondering what my options are in replacing the rear mufflers.....

Any recommendation on which are best? Where'd you get yours from?

They didn't charge me. I asked them to let me know which fuse it was so I didn't have to bother them again but nope. Just said it could be somewhere in the front fuse box!

Yeah was thinking I may as well do that. Took the car to the dealer I bought it from yesterday. I asked them to let me know if it was a fuse. Turns out it was, funny thing was they wouldn't tell me which fuse or where it was located. All I know it was a Yellow 20

Gday All, I have a dashcam that is powered by the cigarette lighter plug in the front console in front of the gear shifter. I have noticed it has now stopped working. I thought it may have been the camera itself but I have plugged it into our other car and it works fine. I have checked the fuse...

Just give them a buzz. They may have excess stock due to the shut down of Holden. Never hurts to ask

Cubic used to do all the decorative interior pieces for the Australian car industry. I'm pretty sure there was a grey version that was for the Calais. I think the bottom left in the pic is the pattern

Oh that pic brings back memories. I made 1000's of them when the co I worked for was based in Sydney. There was a grey version of this that looked really nice too The co moved to Adelaide when the VE was was launched. Check out Cubic Pacific, they may have stock if anyone needs them.

One local dealer near me has advertised in our local rag the they have over 50 VF's in stock including some SSV's. The ad also states they they are interested in trade ins of other model (earlier) Commodores due to high demand for them

How do you check the version number etc? Want to see if I have been told porkys from my dealer who said the updated it when the rockers were replaced! Nevermind, found it Heres my firmware info from the apparent latest updated

Holden had the car for half a day after initially saying they would need it for 3 days due to having to pull the roof lining and sunroof apart. Not sure of the root cause and haven't heard anymore about it after the HQ enquiry. No issues since but don't really use the sunroof now anyway

Got mine updated when the car was in getting the rockers replaced. I asked them to update the sat nav while the car was in. Picked the car up and was surprised that there was no charge for the update, yet to see any difference in the update though

Just got my redline booked in to be done on the 3rd. They also mentioned there was another recall that will be done at the same time. Didn't get what exactly what it was but she did say it's a plug/s. Also asked if I can get the latest map update as well. Will see how it goes next week

Got my letter yesterday. Rang dealer just now to book it in and was told that I need to wait for another letter to arrive advising that the dealership has the parts and then can book it in to be fixed

You could try Cubic Pacific in South Oz. They used to do all the decorative interiors for the VE and VF's. They may have stock they will be willing to offload or they will tell you to go to a dealer. Just steer clear of their production manager!!!!

Well I got the sunroof fixed within a day. Hopefully I have no more issues. Holden HQ have contacted me as well wanting the VIN so they can explore further

Nice!!! I got a SOAG SS-V Redline as a surprise fathers day present the other week. The MOF (Minister of Finance) was more than happy to trade her sporty VW Polo in for it as well. They're a strange breed I'll never be able to work out but I'm not complaining.

Just had the exact same problem with my 2 week old Redline. Mine was the passenger side. Took it straight to the Holden dealer where we managed to close it. Booked in Monday for a week to get it fixed! There is obviously an issue with them from the mumbling from one of the service techs.
