To get the sump off you need to support the engine from above and then drop the k frame. the oil pickup prevents the pan being removed with everything still in place.

I have done ls1 & 4l60e into a vs. It’s straight forward process with the muscle garage conversion kit. i used vy engine & trans , vy ecu with vats delet. You’re going to need a tail shaft and exhaust made other than that it’s pretty easy to do yourself at home.

I have rapier wheels on the ve. You would need to have wheels specifically for big brake clearance.

The diff housing is the same, only the internals are changed. just get an alignment like you were advised as it’s most likely the camber has shifted.

The way it works is when the retailer orders 4 tyres from a supplier 3 tyres are invoiced and the 4th sent to them for free. the free tyre is then passed onto the customer.

Exactly what Vc commodore said. A tool is used to hold the position of the steering wheel While adjustments are made. just Take it back and have them redo it with the steering wheel wheel locked in the correct position.

The alignment they did is fine How they set it. Where they went wrong is not locking the steering wheel straight before adjusting the toe. Take it back to the shop & have them redo it. It’s a simple fix.

I think you mean 245/30r20, 35 profile won’t fit pre ve. the op , I wouldn’t go any bigger than an 18 with 235/40r18 tyre. The ride will be very harsh with a larger diameter rim.

Make sure the transmission is in park or neutral. The inhibitor switch will prevent it from starting if it’s still in gear. You may have to adjust the selector rod.

I’m running stock manifolds with 100 cell cats, hsv 2.5 mid section, stock vf bimodel rear mufflers. Really quiet with the valves closed but really loud when you stomp on the accelerator pedal. Best of both worlds really

actutually from memory the v6 does have a 1/2 inch square drive. My brain was thinking ls engine for some reason. Just plug a breaker bar or ratchet into the square drive. It will only move in one direction.

It’s a 15mm, you can’t adjust it as it’s spring loaded. If it’s slipping I suggest replacing with a new one as it’s most likely worn out

Harrop htv2300 with install labour, all the other little bits & pieces with a tune is 16 to 17 grand.

Good quality exhaust, Duel 3 inch would be ideal. Heavy duty clutch is a must if it’s manual. If it’s auto the 4l60e will most likely die a quick and painful death. Upgraded fuel pump. Heavy duty valve springs as a minimum.

You can use the ls high pressure line. Make your own return line.

If it’s spluttering it’s likely to be a fuel supply issue. Once you get some coin saved up I’d have the fuel line tested for pressure & flow. I recommend not giving it too much of a hard time while driving. If its running lean the pistons can be damaged.
