I went with the 375 kit on my MSE as I didn't want anyone opening up my new engine. I was after more low down torque and a better sounding exhaust, it had to be tractable around town and a smooth idle, I'm very happy with the result. My car went from 239rwkw to 282rwkw. I don't have the increase...
I hear you, but mine has 1,300 k’s, Walkinshaw kit with bi-modal, $7,200 plus custom cover $800, plus 3M front end protection $1,400, and more, over $10,000 on top of the car
I don’t believe all cars that are modified are thrashed. I put the w375 pack on my manual MSE primarily for the sound and that bit extra pick up from the increase in torque it provided making the driving experience more enjoyable without revving it out. Other than on the Dyno, mine hasn’t gone...
I have an MSE manual. I can set the speed warning to whatever speed ie 100km but it doesn’t chime when that speed is exceeded, I’ve looked everywhere I can think of but can’t find where you can turn it on or off. Anyone help?
Selling for a profit, you must be joking. Normal on road price in Canberra is $71,000 plus about $2,500 in accessories. I love the car but circumstances have changed. If I can sell it fine, if not I’ll just store it. Certainly not going to give it away. Don’t need the money, just be more...
Hi Red lioness, My MSE is up for sale, but in no hurry to sell. Red, 6sp manual, with the special $700 cover. 700 k’s full 3m protective film across the front, cost $1,400. Asking $65,000 no offers.

Does anyone know what the manual gearbox and diff ratios are in the VF2 cars. Specifically the MSE, but I assume they are the same in all the LS3 manuals
I have film protection across the front on my MSE, no way will it get a chip where the film is applied. It goes right across the front from just in front of the wheel arches and up across the bonnet about 350mm in from the leading edge, not cheap though at $1400.
I've had it applied to a few of...
You can have my Red Motorsport, manual, 600k's, full front end covered in clear 3M protection ($1,400) complete with Motorsport car cover for $65,000
Canberra
I'm thinking of replacing the small rear lip spoiler on my Motorsport with a larger one in a similar style. Does anyone know how the current one is fitted, stuck on? if it is, how to remove it without damage to the paint?
The most important is the MRC suspension, normally available only on HSV cars, the ability to turn the bi-modal exhaust on or off on the fly. Memory electric front seats and heated, plus more, it’s certainly not just stickers.
Other than the exhaust note, have those who have fitted the W375 kit noticed a definite increase in acceleration or responsiveness, if so, where in the rev range? Was it worth the expense?
If the loss from flywheel to wheels was the same, then the gain from 304kw to 375kw, increase at the wheels would be 71kw, but from what I can gather the increase is more like 40kw, going from around 240kw to 280kw at the wheels.
