Thats awesome! So you reckon its worth saving the bonnet. A sundstrom mask with gas filter seems the go. How bad on the eyes is it? Probably take the back window out to get to the rust. This is the WORST of the back window, other sides still intact. The roof - its right around it!

Both the same. The difference is on the "S1" the top hose ran to the back of the motor because it was originally mounted in an east-west configuration. The inlet manifold on the "S2" was then changed to suit. Generally the top hose will always exit the motor because heat rises.
