There are numerous threads over at ssforums based here in the states. Great details on tapping into the X3 connector before the Bose amp and powering different amps and speakers. The signal at the X3 connector is a good clean untampered signal being fed into the Bose amp from the head unit. B.

You could have an air leak after the sensor. Or it is dirty. Get a can of MAF cleaner, pull the air cleaner off to expose the MAF and follow the directions on the can. Those little buggers tend to get a little road grime on them and can throw codes. B.

Yes this is very possible. You have two options. You can intercept a clean signal from the head unit just prior to the Bose amp. Use that signal to supply the low level inputs to your amp. Or you can intercept the speaker signals after the amp. Then run that signal into the high level...

Well, a lot of amps have signal sensing, so when it detects the incoming signal from your head unit, it turns on automatically. So you will not need a remote trigger. Even though nearly every amp has a connection for one. B.

There are a couple of Chevy SS on you tube with Magnaflow exhaust cat back systems. Try searching for that make a model instead of the Commodore VF. Maybe you will have better results. And I think Magnaflow has a video clip as well on their site. I know I am going with their catback system...
