Well it's been three years since I did this. Still no issues, no leaks. Mace product is good quality. I see a few people are now doing this, must be the life span of the VT/VX/VY gaskets.

They are driver aids, not replacements. Plenty of other vehicles in the market have this technology, especially active cruise control (radar).

No active Cruise Control or Emergency slow speed auto braking!!!!!!!! Disappointed Holden.

Paddle shifts for VF SSV Redline from My 15 range and beyond. Also Craig Lowndes edition gets paddles too. Holden are keeping their best til last. Annoying for people in the market for new now.

Thanks for that. I've already been to an audio store. They said needs to obviously be sent to Kenwood for repairs. They said $99 bucks to send it none refundable with no guarantee they would be able to fix it. Repair cost on top of the $99. Considering the unit is now 4 yrs old it's not worth it...

Very good point. To do a lower job correctly you need shortened shocks front and back. I've got them on mine. Also you may wish to consider a camber kit for the rears to make them sit straighter. 2 or 4 point camber kit will do the job.

Mate in my opinion you wouldn't want to go any lower the SL. Even maybe just Lows. Sydney Roads are terrible, any lower and you will encounter problems like scrubbing of the tyres, hitting the bottom of the car on speed humps and badly designed drive ways etc.

As important as you want it to be. If you drop something into the engine and cant retrieve it very important. Better to be safe then sorry.

From memory it will get caught against brake lines and coil leads.

sometime the bolts will still grab on the thread. make sure u have undone all of them completely. Even when you think you have undone them they sometimes are still grabbing onto the thread. Also the rocker covers have a little lip on them which maybe grabbing onto the engine block. You can tilt...

Nice right up. I think the more common problem with the fuel lids staying open is the little plastic tab that moves in and out that jams and stays in, not catching on the fuel lid. If you have a fix for this let us know.

I see another stuffed fuel lid tab... If and when you fix it post a How To. Sure theres many others in the same boat.

You will need one of these to get the fuel lines off in the engine bay. Any good automotive store will sell these. Called a fuel disconnect tool or sometimes known as AC lines disconnect tool

Check the bulb in the dome. Might have come loose or not contacting positive and negative correctly. Also fuse may be on its way out. Also check the ground screw that holds the dome to the roof it may have come loose as well. Also check the plug which sits on the floor near drivers side pillar...
