Concerning the colours for MY15, just noticed on a Holden dealer website in NSW, a listing for an SV6 in "Slipstream Blue". Anyone heard if this is officially being added to the list with Karma and Perfect Blue? Maybe next years Hero colour?

heh, yeh I rang the late night service dept at my dealer last night, but they couldn't do a search for it till the parts department opened in the morning. I will give them a call back today and let you guys know the specifics in case anyone else has the same issue in the future.

Hi all, I need some information on the two rubber components which hold the rear muffler in place on the VY SS. One of mine has split in two and is now allowing the muffler from rock from side to side. Does anyone know how much these parts cost and how easy they are to replace? ta

Has anyone here noticed a single "click" noise when accelerating at around 3500 rpm in a Gen 3 manual? I have noticed that the noise only occurs during actual driving, and when the engine is revved while the gear box is in neutral, but then the clutch is pressed the noise does not occur...

Thanks guys. I'm gonna see if Holden will replace the whole lot while it is still under warranty, rather than just tighten everything up and face the possibility of it all falling apart again a few months down the track.

I get 18.8 around town according to trip comp, however when doing a "fill test" i only put in 14 ltr after 100 ks.. go figure

The sticker for the SRS above the glovebox has the same issue, AND the chrome spokes on the steering wheel did the same. Had the spokes replaced under warranty, aint bothered with the glove box yet. Gear shift however, nothing noticable... yet

Well im only speaking from experiences with my car, but im usually fairly pedantic about audio quailty, and I still stand by the fact that imo the stock setup is no bad. Sure it wont sound as good as a proper aftermarket system, but for what they put in from the factroy, i dont see any issues...

just for my 2 cents I think the stock system is not half bad. I usually have music on at 40, radio and CD and it sounds perfect.

wtf I must be insane or doing somethign horribly wrong. THere are 3 screws in the airbox lid. Once removed, then lid can be moved, however trying to lift it up puts strain on the cabling and pipes that run alongside it. I probably could disconnect several connectors and the tubing that runs...

hrm well i've managed to get teh rad cover off, but there are still a **** load of pipes in the way the prevent easy opening of the box, only way to get it properly open seems to be to dissasmble the entire thing, the hell with that :S

Anyone got some simple ideas on properly removing the lid for the stock airbox. I had a dabble earlier, and got little further than removing the screws before being set back by the overlapping placement of the coolant tank and the radiator cover :S

Slightly annoying issue I have discovered, from time to time the steering wheel controls will screw up, and each button will do the funtion of one of the other button, ieL Volume down will turn the volume up, while the volume up button continues its normal work :S Stopping the car then...
