On a series 2(s), it's colour coded (front bar down the bottom). As are the side mirrors.

I am all for mock-ups, barring badges. Imo, the badges should not be changed when putting on a diff' kit.

Indeed. If you want the power band up to around the 3 grand mark, and more with the right rockers, roots all the way. Centrifugal is kinda turbo like, it's torque is produced later on, not early.

That aurions issue is that; a) it's a toymota b) it's FWD c).....thats it really. Mined you, the new trd version looks more the part, supercharged, and around the 250kw mark, but still fwd.

Only thing I can think of is when you put the airbag down, make sure it's fairly level, bag side up (otherwise if it goes off it will get airborn), and make sure no-one goes near it. It's not that they have a bad habit of going off, rather that it's always better to err on the side of caution...

You should never spray any liquid into the keyholes in the VY's, too sensitive. Graphite powder is fine, but it can be messy.

Fibreglass bonnets are usally about half the cost of a steel bonnet, thats the easiest way to know. The tear drop section is where the park lights are located in the vy headlights cluster.

Just make sure that the front bar you get has the tear drop sections, otherwise it could end up a very expensive mistake. Also, make sure you steer clear of fibreglass bonnets, these (to the best of my knowledge) are enough for you to end up with a defect notice on your car, and apparently are...

Im glad you took it as positive, it was how it is intended. I cant fault the banner itself, it looks very good, hence why I am currently making another :)

I am talking about the filesize, not the pic size. My point is that the banner you have there as a jpg is already around the 300kb size, plus buttons and rollovers after converting to a gif, it may be a little large. When you reduce the picture quality to make the overall image filesize...

@nate - Not bad mate, but I think they want the old & new concept now, and when you reduce the colour count to shrink file size, it may look a bit grainy. @t-roy - hmmm... that looks familiar ;) I'd steer clear of the red glow, but other than that, it's a nice bold scheme.

Better alternative imho is the split ratio rockers from yella terra. Split ratio rockers balance out the inlet/exhaust better, which allows your top end to breath even better than just high ratio rockers, plus yella terra's rockers are roller tipped, not friction plate, and are also lighter...

I think regarding a theme change, 1 step at a time. All I would consider at the moment would be to change the colours to a more monochromatic scheme, but people might find this a tad boring, I certainly would'nt try and pretty it up to much as it will only increase loading times for people on...

This banner is only a jpg, so when it's in html code it will shrink down to fit 1024*768, possibly 800*600, but not sure yet.

Older model commodores shouldnt be an issue, mainly becuase the copyright would have expired on the '78 vb brochure pics. The holden symbol in mine is only suggestive, as it show less then 50% of the actual image, so should not incur issues there. The only possible issue would be that of the...

Yella Terra offer a good deal if your only after one pulley upgrade, around the $120 mark (plus a revised belt, $45ish) and tool hire cost. Apparently takes around half an hour to change over, and is known as the stealth pulley because it's machined to look like the orignal m90 pulley.

Did try to splice to commodores together, but it is tricky. See, the problem is the height of the vehicles, and the length, so when they are spliced together it sort of mismatches a bit too much. Sort of ends up looking messy. Second version of splicing I tried was the frontal images, but...
