    Changed the seal this arvo took about two hours some of the bolts were tricky to get to cause of the gear selector being in the way so put it in 1st and it moved enough to get the bolts out. Getting out the old seal was a pain in the ass too but that was due to having the wrong tools for the job...

    Thanks for the replies so just reverse up on ramps and remove tail shaft ? And no need to drain oil or anything? Cheers

    Would I have to replace the seal on the extension case aswell? Is there mean to be oil in the extension case ? Thanks for the replys

    Gday all have a leak around my oil pan on my one tonner not sure where it's coming from has anyone had this problem before also have a leak where the tail shaft connects to the transmission suspecting seal needs replacing is this hard to do? Cheers
