    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

Upped camp at New Norfolk this morning and took a leisurely drive to Bicheno, via Richmond, (had to laugh, got breathalysed in Richmond on the way out) Orford, Triabunna, and Swansea. Was just over 200 Ks, with some challenging winding roads. A brief experience before leaving the New Norfolk...

Mmmm. Whilst being in Tassie at the moment, I'm seeing lots more homeless people staying on the campsites and just living out of their cars. Sad really:(

Drove to Lachlan just outside of New Norfolk today and then walked up to Myrtle Falls. Very pleasant. Been up there several times before. Was a little bit sad this time:( A father had left a little plaque in memory of his daughter who died at age twenty-three. Stayed up there a while and dipped...

You may not believe this, but I am that guy who picks up other people's rubbish and washes the dirty sinks after them, and picks up the bits of bog roll left on the floors. I've cleaned out blocked drains and toilets and had my hands in plenty of sh1tty situations, so yeah. My comment was...

Downside this morning. Goes to the toilets to find some dirty bastardian has not only sh1t all down the back of the pan, but has also managed to sh1t on the seat. Clean it up with the bog brush provided?…..Not likely! That's someone else's job:(

Had a good day yesterday. Took a walk along the Derwent River and back up into the town of New Norfolk. Went into the grounds of the old hospital for the insane as it was originally called. Willow Court as it is known now, has always been a fascination to me having been here at least ten times...

I'm not so sure, from what I'm seeing whilst here, there appears to be plenty being spent on roads and infrastructure. Maintenance of roads, parks and highways has certainly improved since 2020 when we were last here. So it seems.

A cold night last night, woke up to frost on the car windows. Turned out nice though:) Drove down to Hobart from New Norfolk, got there in half an hour just after 9 am. Parked up the top of Liverpool Street and walked down into town for the coffee. Hit the Salamanca Market at 10.15 am and was...

Made our way from Moles Creek to New Norfolk on the Derwent River today, stopping at Ross on the way, where we devoured a couple of their famous scallop pies. Sat on 110ks most of the way, camper van in tow. Probably took us about Three and a half hours with the stop at Ross. I suspected a slow...

And….on that note, we've just returned from Sheffield the town of murals. Lovely day, albeit chilly. After a much-needed coffee to warm us up, we took a wander around this years prize giving murals which are judged by the community, before a two-hour return walk along the Kimberly’s Lookout...

Yep, saw this happen during the drought of the 80’s and 90’s. Many a concrete slab moved due to ground shrinkage, causing relatively new houses to crack.

Moles Creek to Launceston in less than an hour. Drove straight to Cataract Gorge and then walked through the Gorge to Kings Bridge and then down into the town centre. On the way, had a look in at Penny Royal. Coffee at ‘Coffee Republic’ and fan heater and trouser shopping to follow. Big rap to...

what did you do to your car today?

Yeah, that gives me the sh1ts. I think it's like a game for some. 80 in the 100 zone, and then they do 100 on the overtaking part.:(

what did you do to your car today?

Don't worry, I got up to 115 kph whilst going uphill with a campervan in tow overtaking a fecking combine harvester on the Bass Hwy yesterday, only because the person directly behind it dawdled when we got to the overtaking lane. :(

Drove down the Bass Hwy Tassie from Penguin to Deloraine. 85 K’s and it took us less than an hour. Not a pothole in sight and a 110 speed limit. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the brook is babbling as we sit here enjoying Moles Creek.:)

Liverpool 0 v Crystal Palace 1 Liverpool suffered their second successive home defeat at Anfield, a slip-up they've not suffered since 2017. Losing to Atlanta in their first leg in the Europa Cup 0-3 last week was a big upset. But this loss against a defiant Palace has possibly put paid to...

I don't. Since getting on the boat to now, I've eaten so many sugary sweats/lollies it's not funny. I am a bit addicted to sugar and can't help myself, especially as I'm not smoking cigarettes at the moment, but I do believe sugar is the root of all evil and highly addictive.
