Let me ask this question. The vast majority of issues I notice on this forum is with the SV6 VF and other models of the VF. The Evoke hardly gets a mention, would it be a fair assumption to draw a conclusion that most members don't give a toss regards the Evoke and Evoke owners don't bother ?

Mate, when we buy second hand cars it's always a bit of a gamble, all we can do is go by the log books and at best get a mechanic to go through it. I'd love to buy it from my mum who always had my back but unfortunately she's dead.

Just a bit of info on how well the basic Evoke went on my last roady. Punched out 30,000 klm and the only thing I did before that trip was fit a transcooler, it achieved 11 litre @ 100 KLM. Zero issues except the ones caused by humans wrenching on it. Such a brilliant car.

I'm going to tow a van with it and punch out maybe 30000 KLM so I'm very happy it happened now. One can expect this at 200 K up. Next will be alternator or water pump. Normal stuff innit.

Just bought this. VF Evoke wagon. 2015 series two. 260000 klm. $ 9400. Turned out converter was fooked. Now + 1500. @ 10900. Still a good buy.

Yer, this is a brilliant forum but I tend to forget many of the members are only interested in the high end VF's.

Considering the price difference between The Evoke and the Redline I'd expect the seats to be better but I came from a 1990 Camry to the Evoke so my arse thought it was in a Rolls Royce.

Funny how some of you guys bang on about crap seats in the Evoke ? Fired my Evoke 32000 klm around Bogan pulling a van and my skinny arse loved the seats, no pimples , war wounds or tape worms appeared. Anyway, i reckon some of you guys are mommys boys and not on the money. Sold my awesome...

That's exactly the noise it makes when low on oil, the oil heats up quickly, expands killing the noise. The noise is nasty and brings thoughts of W.T.F, this is gunna be an expensive fix which it will be if the gearbox is fooked. Just sayin.
