Ok found it was the power steering pump it’s was a faulty one from repco

Yep done that to i starting to think it’s the alternator

Checked all the pullys there the same size and water pump all good

Ok so got new pullys and belt and now there a stupid sound coming from the engine but when i take the belt of and start the car there no sound

Aww yeah i learnt that today so just want to take them all of . Has anyone used a heat gun to get that black **** off

What sort of tape did you use to put the trim back on

In a eco or L67

And brand ?? 15w/40 what’s higher than that and a good brand

Some peeps saying 20W/50 is that to thick

Did you fix the problem mate

So been told it’s the cluster good This be it i been out side unplugged the pump still the same cleaned the relay n fuse box check all the wires under dash and hood seems all ok

So where do i look to fix this does it when there full pump not in .. so one told me there a sensor in the tank lol

Put got new fuel pump n sender unit i unplug the pump and the gauge say i am full

I looked and looked ... I put new replays in new fuel pump etc

I have put a new pump in and the gauge still saying it’s full and i have all so replaced all the fuses and relays

Can any one help me out i am mind fucked by this vx ... gauge was working the day and now it’s saying is full tank when i am under half ??

Hi guys i have jumped ships from a ford to Holden and i have 2 issues with my vx v6 4 gear rev is funny got told it’s tbe 02 sensors and my fuel gauge is not working say i am full and i have done the gauge test by resting etc

I have a vx Calais and done all the computer reset serif all the gauges work etc and they do .. and fuel pump works fine but the gauge saying it’s fuel same with with the dash 750 till empty ???? Any ideas
