    MAF Sensor cleaning

That's what I was thinking, it shouldn't cause any problems if I removed throttle body and let it dry out I wouldn't think there would be a problem, do you agree ? Appreciate your reply, thanks.

Now why did I kind of guess someone would say that :) , it's a real pain to get to as thermostat is at back of motor tucked in below the supercharger with a vacuum unit hard up in front of thermostat housing. Oil leak Sump of rear Main? Also Miss could be a Rod

yes crank has to come out, don't be persuaded by people telling you to use a tool called a sneaky pete, yeah does the job for a bit but wouldn't recommend it even more so if yours is S/C'd

Oil leak Sump of rear Main? Also Miss could be a Rod

have you looked at the passenger side of the inlet manifold this is a common area for the oil to leak from, this could also contribute to your miss, you may have blown the inlet manifold gasket allowing it to suck in air. bending a rod you will tend to have a knocking sound all the time(but not...

    knock sound when braking

not necassarily, you usually hear the humming ...grinding first, unless your deaf then you will have all sorts of steering problems rather than braking problems,i'm not denying that pedal knock back doesn't exist, but it is very uncommon in everyday normal driving.
  19. S

creaking sound at the rear wheels

the shunt may of been heavy enough to knock something about in the rear end.

    how much is it...

they will charge you an hrly rate which is usually around the $60-$70 mark plus any other parts as stated in previous post...I.E front seal, they may also find something wrong with you HB but highly unlikely.
  21. S

    knock sound when braking

i'll assume you read the article properly, like it said the world isn't perfect and pedal knockback is more common on the race track.

creaking sound at the rear wheels

like everyone is advising you with checking panhard rod and rubbers etc,etc also check your shock absorber rubbers especially the right hand one. Also very long shot, has your car been in to a panel beaters shop recently for any kind of rear end repair?

    Wheel Bearing Problems

    knock sound when braking

how does the pedal feel when you first hop in the car without motor running ? if it feels good ,next with your foot still on the brake pedal start the car your pedal should move down slightly, you will know as you can feel it,if it goes more than slightly...I.E heaps, then i'd be considering your...

1990 VN running rough & uning heaps of fuel

does the cooling system have coolant in it ? this can also contribute to excessive fuel consumption if it hasn't,believe it or not, also as answered by others your O2 sensor and also a crank angle sensor that is about to give up the ghost will give you that cutting out.

    Removing Exterior Door Trim

if it's just double sided tape the trims should just pull away easy.if they seem terribly hard to pull away by hand then someone has had it in for repair and they have re-stuck them on with sikaflex:bang: thats where the poster said with fishing line etc,etc comes in handy

    When taking out my engine

:) same here...never ever come accross that problem...what m62vpute stated those brackets were put there for a reason :) and should be used, personally i don't like using exhaust manifold bolt holes for an anchorage/lifting point...stretch the hole or damage the thread ,using a seat belt...
