Hi All. How does the setting in the VF2 to support AUX 2 get done? Is it through the GDS2 program? Or another way?

Hi All, I know carbon car systems used to do one, but they dont make them anymore. Does anyone know who does for a VF Series 2 Manual transmission. I understand all the issues with it being in gear etc etc. Just trying to do some research as can't seem to find anything on the subject.

So an update on this.. Finally managed to get it talking to the car. Looks like it was missing a VCI Driver for GM, and once i downloaded this from VXDIAG wedbsite, when i choose the MDI2 option in GDS2 for the device it finally seemed to recognise this and communicate with the vehicle! I will...

Hey Stooge. Did you have to do a thing special to connect the vxdiag module to gds2? I can’t even seem to get it to connect to the gm mid program

Ah, should clarify, its more for when the car is no longer under warranty and can diagnose myself. The 2 issues are related to sensors of which Holden is changing under warranty, but more so when its out of warranty i can do it myself. The air bag light is related to the drivers seating...

That cost sounds like tune only...OTR and Tune is generally higher.

I can vouch for Autowerks at Beverly Hills. Maybe you didnt get Sonny on the phone, but they dont promise power figures. Depends on mods etc, what engine is like blah blah blah. 2 cars with same mods can get different numbers.

had the same thing happen to my SSV. After a couple of days of driving the issue went away with the high idle. Next time will likely take it off and clean it.

Hi All...So didnt end up disconnecting the battery. and yesterday was the first time that the revs didnt increase as i stopped. So looks like it finally relearnt itself. Finally.

Sorry about the delay. Recleaned and sprayed everything, and mostly it seems ok yetserday. This morning, every now and then it would increase to about 1600rpm when i come to a stop then drop back. When you say disconnect the battery...As in just take the positive terminal off for a few hours?

Hey all This morning I cleaned the throttle bottle with cleaner. since then, when I come to a stop the revs increase to 2000rpm then drop back to normal. I have a 2016 vf sos series 2 redline.. Everything went back together normally. Have I accidentally sprayed or stuffed a sensor?

If in the closed position on the MyLink system, they are shut..ie, in idle, i have it set to closed position, and if i stick my head around the back of the car and look, its closed.

Surely someone in Sydney does this. Or does anyone know what Holden charge? Or is there any program for me to unlock it in the BCM itself? :)

Dragging up an old thread.... What software is needed on the car to fit these? Is it something Holden does? As in, my car wasnt fitted with the factory TPMS Option, but I can pick up the sensors off ebay as a set, and then just need to fit and program. Just need to understand a bit before I go...

Interesting..As a number of Holden dealers said Holden dont make that part anymore, even when i quoted just the part number and not specifically related to the VF.

So for those interested in an update. Got the relay sent from the USA. Needed 1, but got 3. So have 2 spare if anyone needs one. Bimodal is all working now, and there is a noticeable difference which is great. Next big test is doing a freeway run and seeing if the drone is gone. I think all up...

So for those interested. Got the original bimodals fitted. Unfortunately, the relay is missing which I only found out this afternoon. So still not sure whether it works. Holden don’t have any relays. Ordered some from eBay but are a week or so away. Anyone know where in Sydney I can get one from?

Question for you. Where did you get the relay from for this circuit? Holden don’t have one. And mine is missing out of my car. Wise from eBay, anyone in Sydney or do you know the aftermarket part number for the same relay?

Hmmm...Thanks. I tried covering them yesterday, and it did make a difference.. Will try it out. Got the bimodal on order now, and found a place to weld them in. For a few hundred bucks, it wont break the bank but will post back in here in a couple of weeks once done.
