My sidi sv6 sportwagon is about to clock over 5000km and is averaging pretty close to 9.5l/100km combined, that's not too bad considering I like to use the power at hand fairly often without being a hoon. It hammers along nicely, and the sound is great when you let it dig in it's heels...

Took it in to the dealer today and they inspected it, found a collection of brake dust and washed the brakes out. No sign of noise yet.. They suggested it was the bedding in process...plausible. Let's see if it comes back...

I put mine in for it's 3000 km service today. I was surprised to see that the engine oil wasn't changed, just checked. So I had a look at the service schedule.... nope, they don't replace engine oil, just check it...as per the Holden schedule. So I guess if they use thicker oil, it stays there...

Get them looked at, probably it is the wear indicator tab that is contacting the disc. It is possible that a rock has bent it and causing it to make contact, but just in case it is something worse like shagged pads, I'd want to make sure..... the cost of getting it checked is far far worse than...

LSD is standard on VE SS and SSV (both come with FE2 suspension as standard), however it is optional on the SV-6 (which also has FE2 suspension standard).

there is a way to do it on the SV6, so I assume you will have the same option with the green screen, it will probably be in your owners manual

I'm not sure about on the VE; but on the VY with the trip computer programmed to police mode (i.e digital speed display) the trap speed function would simply freeze the digital display at the speed the vehicle was traveling at when the button was pushed.
