Yeah that’s why I was shocked when I noticed the shop I went to had stated they used Penrite Mineral Gear Oil 80w-90. After reading about it seems like that oils really only used for older cars.

You use Penrite Mineral Gear Oil 80w-90? Or you mean you used the Pro Gear? On the Penrite site they say the 80w-90 is Blue so it’s easy to identify.

Ok I will call the shop Monday to confirm what oil they used in the gearbox. Should I not drive my car before I find out?
