If your willing to run without a heater for a while you can bypass the core. It will stop the leak but it also defrosts the window so it could probibly get you defected.

Follow your fuel rail around to the drivers side, it is simply bolted to the end of the rail.

Easy as, bleed the pressure in the rail by removing the fuel pump fuse then starting the car. I had a shift solinoid fault in My GF's VR V6, I think that came up 36 or 37. Took ages to find the fault code and its meaning. Have a look in transmission section.

These units can be bought from castle auto and electrics, I had to use one on my torana when I fitted a VP 5L and toyota 5 speed.

Look up a few posts, $7000 firm.

My understanding is it boosts the signal from the dizzy to your coil. Then again I'm not 100% on that one. They do quite often fail leaving you with no spark or and intermittant fault. The wires going to this module and the actual pins ans sockets in the plug can also give ya trouble.

Not sure if it helps but on my GF's VR V6 if I remove the fuel pump fuse there is no start, no click, just nothing? Found this out while trying to bleed the fuel pressure from the rail.

Surely someone wants it? Looking at picking up a ute next weekend so the torana has to go. Ebay is calling....

It will get you home but I wouldn't travel too far as it will blow your diff if its the rear. I think its illegal too but if you have to put it on the front making sure the 2 rears are the same.
