    Milky oil on oil cap

Ju I just got the cover off and the chain is in good condition, good tension looks like they have done it with a good chain, looking at the amount of gunk on the head I’m surprised it could breath through the crank case and didnt mess with the oil pressure and chain, it is allot harder than the...

    Milky oil on oil cap

I did a timing chain on my sv6 a while ago so I’m confident with that

    Milky oil on oil cap

Yeah I was assuming the timing chain had allot to do with it, cams off to get to the head bolts and to retime I’m assuming the front timing cover needs to come off right

Lookin go for some connecting rod bearing advice

I just found my chain tensioner in 2 pieces, there was a slight rumble sort of sound on deceleration I’m assuming it was that, I can’t find the spring though I hope it is somewhere behind the oil pump, because I took the sump off to change the con rod bearings and it wasn’t there, it really is a...

Lookin go for some connecting rod bearing advice

I’m just going to leave them for now and make sure oil pressure is good, from what I read they should not be changed without a bore as they might spin if not honed and installed properly, not sure but I’m not going to do it.

Lookin go for some connecting rod bearing advice

A And also can be done in car but it’s allot harder radiator and compressor out dropping the sump and moving the bearing up past the Conrods and push them in using the tool through the cam hole
  31. J

Lookin go for some connecting rod bearing advice

So after some research it isn’t that hard, cam bearings can be pushed out with a special tool and pressed back on with the same tool, as long as the oil holes line up should be fine
