I've just recently had my harmonic balancer replaced and issue has only happened since this was replaced. The car started a few times recently though this time it didnt start at all even with trying to jump start it.

Hey guys and gals, When I try to start my 2010 commodore ute sv6 it clicks and doesnt start. Does anyone have any pointers as to what I might be?? I tried to jump start and nothing. I have radio and lights though wont start. Had to clutch start though hear it's bad for the car. Thanks Matt

Yeah I can see the caliper through the wheel though not sure what I'm looking for. Thankfully my mechanic said he will fix it tomorrow. Thanks for all your advice. He is also repairing my rear wheel bearing. Just sucks having to spend close to 4g on a car I've owned 2 weeks

Buying a piston repair kit tomorrow and my mechanic is going to repair for me.

Should I ask if they replaced it when they changed the rotor and pads or if they used the original.one from the old setup?? Maybe it's the shops mistake which is causing my wheels being completely locked up. When I have ute on hoist the wheel is locked tight, cant even budge it a mm

They didnt pick up on it at tyrepower until I returned the vehicle. They had it on their hoist for almost an hour. And they then tried to charge me more for their screw up

My own.mechanic greased the slides but didnt seem to fix the issue. The true place never greased them. They also didnt tell me the old pads were worn un evenly until I returned the vehicle. Wish I never used tyrepower as I'd never had any brake issues. Just had worn pads. Only bought the car 2...

Buying a caliper kit tomorrow so hopefully this will fix the issues.

I noticed the front right was stinking after use of car, days after repair. Took it back and after 1 hour on the host they told me ute was not driveable and wanted a further $200/caliper to recondition. Wish they told me they were sticking before I drove it. May have damaged the new rotor

Thanks mate, Wish I knew how to dismantle the calipers. Calipers were fine before Tyrepower did the brake repair.

Hi everyone, I recently got my brakes fixed by a tyre shop that does brake repair. After replacing the discs and pads I found d the brakes were sticking. Returned it to shop and they now tell.me my brake calipers have seized. How can I rectify this issue??
