ye thanks i appreciate it, got the bottom part off and bent the latches but now i have come across another dillema..... i removed the two rear headrests but those black circular holders/frames where hte headrest pins/small bars go into... i havent tried much but as for now i couldent take em...

i know the top part should come out if you wiggle it upwards (its on a hook?).. but ye thanks im used to findint the screws around the door trim. does sound like a wierd locking mechanism hey.. i'll go try it now. thanks mate

im on gas and keep a low amount of petrol in the tank, beeps pretty loud everytime i turn her on :hit: one reason why i dident realise what this did is becouse only the 1st half of the display seems to work.. all i see is "LO ..2222" n **** like that

i think its the diff clunking when it goes from 2nd to 1st. hear it the most when im in traffic stopping and going.. how much will this set me back. is it a big problem?. i'd say it comes from about under the back seat foot space.

just bought my first vk calais its had a engin reco last 60,000 ks but when i am slowing down to a stop when the car drops from 2nd gear (mabye) to 1st a nasty 'donk' sounds comes from under the seats. the car does not stutter but u can physically feel it.. its an auto. thanks. julio
