so your saying you can get 2000km per tank? That comes to 4l per 100kms. The new fiesta econetic gets 3.6l per 100kms and thats the most fuel efficient car in Aus. How is it that a 94 model 3.6l V6 is on par with a 2010 model 1.6l 4cyl TD?

Tons of wrecks that come up for sale around here so keep a look out for a replacement rear bumper and rear light. youve got at least 2 years to work on it slowly. take your time and youll have a great car by the time you get your license.

i just got another tps and replace it with the old one. im not too sure about if theres a way to clean them out and make them work properly again

fix it before you drive or your car will not last long. it really doesnt take that long. i was at repco at 8am. home by 8:15 on my way to work by 8:30. its just 4 hoses and obviously 4 clamps

i got one from repco the other day, just under $25. they all break over time especially when you use water in the radiator instead of coolant.

i mounted my amps to the side of the sub box and just mounted the box.

im not 100% about the VR's but if your going to go all out i would get a new computer, otherwise im sure you can re map the current computer

ah nice, just got a bit worried there that 1. it would have no airflow and 2. it would be a pain in the ass everytime you had to adjust the settings. looks like its coming along nicely though

doesnt make a real big difference, the gears are still the same between solid axle and irs. just makes it a bit simpler to take the diff out

check in the how to section there a big write up on it in there. 3.7's will be a bit harder to find then 3.9's or 3.45's though. you will be fine on highways youll just sit higher in the rev range at 100kmph.

just keep hunting. i picked up my 97 VS factory manual for only $4000 with 172,000kms. Only ever had one owner and i have had not one problem with it. The great thing about VR-VS is that there are parts and cars a plenty so dont dive into the first one you see cause there will always be plenty...

delco is a bloke on here, hes a good tuner and will make you a nice tuned chipped for only a small fee (if you ask nicely). but considering your trying to squeeze every last bit out of the car i would suggest getting it properly dyno tuned.

some are generic some are specific to auto and manual

best tune would be to get a mafless tune for it, just a lot more tuning that can be done, but in saying that its also a bit pricey. might wanna talk to delco see what he says
