It appears to be there 100% of the time. It's noisier when under torque... going up hill, taking off etc.

The noise is localised to underneath the selector and is there when the car is idling. I've contacted my auto trans guy, hopefully I can take it in this week.

It's unlikely the steering recall has been done, Holden are just getting to them now. You can go to the dealer with your VIN, they'll check if there are outstanding recalls.

Mine went in today at Castle Hill Holden. All done. No fuss.

I find it more severe if I brake harder and hit the accelerator harder.

It has 68,000 on the clock. Stef.

Howdy, I've started noticing a very slight jolt/noise coming from (what appears) to be the rear of the car when I'm coming to a complete stop. It then happens when taking off. It's not every single time. Any thoughts? Cheers, Stef.

Had this issue, whenever I would go over a bump. I first tried silicon lube spray (WD40), it didn't really do anything. Today, I tried silicon grease (Herschell) from Super Cheap.. so far so good! Shall report back after a week.

Following up... I took my car to have the auto serviced... oil and filter changes. Grinding has gone.

Took the car to the dealer, I'm still covered with the 3 month statutory used car warranty. They're ordering the parts and sorting it. Apparently the original clips were plastic and would warp and fail, the replace them with metal versions that are fail safe... apparently.

Yes the whole foam seat and cover are unattached.

How have they lasted since?

Good lord, just clips that hold the entire cushion onto the frame? seems dodgy. I can't believe my car only has 65k on the clock and it's starting to fall apart already, I swore never to buy another holden after my VT.... it's been Jap and Euro since, but decided to give the Calais a go. I hope...

I just called my dealer about this, they're still waiting for parts, they said 'Mid year' to me. Dealer was Heartland Blacktown.

Update - have contacted customer care about this first off, before I go to the dealer. Also wanting my maps updated, seems a few speed limits are off on the M2. I think these must've been mapped during the road works, also showing a 90 zone west of Windsor Rd, as it was years ago.
